Join us for a Q&A with London-based textile artist Rachel Goodison. For those of you lucky enough to join us in-person at unravel, Rachel's "knitted tentacles" will be on display in the entry to the building!
Rachel Goodison uses painting, printing, and sculpting with textiles, to explore contrasting ideas such as play and disquiet, control and lack of control, and the strength and vulnerability of the human body and mind. She changed career to become an artist in 2015, having trained as a barrister, and worked for a campaign group called London First. Rachel was awared her MA at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2019 with Distinction, followed by an Artist Fellowship at the school which continues until 2022. Her work has appeared in various group exhibitions. Rachel lives and works in London.
